I am 1 week into the $2 Roadtrip and currently in Newburyport, Massachusetts.
Its been quite a journey so far and a very successful one. I’ve learned some new things about traveling with the piano and have already met some great people.
The purpose of my journey is to see if I could travel by car throughout the Northeast and Canada starting with only $2 and 1 gallon of gas. All funds would be made by doing the one thing I love doing most: Playing Piano on the streets.
I began my journey in NYC on July 19, 2012 and played in TriBeCa to kick off the trip. We made $152, which was more than enough to buy a full tank of gas and to fill up my cooler with food.
